HAVING A PROBLEM DOWNLOADING A DRAWING?

Two "common" problems are:

- The wrong drawing arrives -- Assuming you didn't mis-type the drawing number, the problem usually is because the small screen image has an incorrect caption number.  Go back to the screen image and right-click on it and select Properties from the drop down menu. This will tell you the name of the file, which will be the correct number of the drawing, i.e. m1234.jpg is drawing # m1234.   (Please send an email to the artist so they can correct the caption.)

- The drawing is corrupted* in some way, maybe it is coarsely pixelated, or it won't load into your page layout.  If this happens contact the artist directly.  If the artist does not respond, contact Barrie Maguire.  Someone can email a acceptable drawing to you.
* Sometimes, if you have requested the drawing be converted from a tiff to a jpeg, try downloading again and NOT converting the drawing.

- In Mac, a window opens, the Quick Time logo appears briefly, the image appears within the window but there is no way to grab the image file:  This maddening occurrence happens with some MS Windows operating systems (2000, for example).  Quick Time insists on opening all tiff files in that manner.  With the browser window selected, save the webpage (Cntl-S, or Command-S) and you will be able to save the image to your desktop.

If all else fails... contact the artist whose drawing you are have difficulty with...
If he or she is not there... contact Barrie Maguire.
